Exclusive connectors (Patent application no. PCT/CN2014/070276)
The slat curtain system is comprised of steel hollow section slat with ceramic wool infill sandwiched by ceramic blanket. Exclusive connectors (Patent application no. PCT/CN2014/070276) are used to detach the heat resisting ceramic blanket and the steel slat curtain in case of fire, terminating of heat conduction from steel slat curtain to heat resisting ceramic blanket, and vice versa. Additional fabric glass can be added to the outer layer of slat curtain for decoration.
Two outstanding mechanisms are incorporated:
1. Barrel built with spring coil
The tension of spring coil inside the barrel ensures slat curtain rolling around the barrel tightly when the shutter is fully opened, minimizing the size of enclosure box.
2. Curtain Holdfast Device (CHD)
CHD is incorporated at two ends of the slat curtain, maintaining the steel curtain as straight as possible when the shutters is fully closed.
