Chung Tai Roller Shutters Co., Ltd. was established in 1979, specializing in research and development, manufacturing and installation of fire rated roller shutters and security roller shutters. All our fire rated shutters are tested by laboratories accredited by the Hong Kong Accreditation Service (HKAS) and meet the requirement of [BS476 Part 22] or [BS EN1634-1]. Our company’s products are designed and manufactured in Hong Kong. We have an experienced and technically outstanding team who-ready to provide professional services to the industry.

Chung Tai Roller Shutters Co., Ltd. performs ISO9001:2015 standard as Quality Management System to maintain excellent fire and security roller shutters. Our System is certified and verified by HKQAA. Our company has been conferred the right to use Hong Kong Top Brand Mark (Top Mark) in 2014 and has been awarded as Hong Kong Premier Brand in 2019.

In the same year, our product awarded <<2019 Hong Kong Awards for Industries>> Equipment and Machinery Design Certificate of Merit. The product is a set of bi-parting horizontally-sliding roller shutter, with 240-minutes fire-rated, 152-minutes heat resistant and covers an area of 24 meters in length and 7 meters in width, which is leading the industry.

In 2020, our company conduct the following tests on polycarbonate film workpieces including:

Spread of Flame Test (BS 476: Part 7: 1997) - Result: Class 1Y.
Smoke Test (BS 6853:1999: Annex D.8.4) – Result: Average Ao (on) 3.76，Ao (off) 3.79
Toxicity Test (BS 6853:1999: Annex B.2) – Result: R Value 0.4
According to BS6853:1999 Table 2, the polycarbonate film workpieces fulfill the requirement of Categories Ib which can be used in underground public area.

In 2020, our company developed Windload and Security Roller Shutter. The higher wind-resistance and protection of this type of roller shutter is firmer and more proper, which greatly improves the level of security. The new design protects the guiderails and the slabs will not separate out from the guiderails.
